Food Poisoning

Well, I had an interesting night last night. I gave myself food poisoning by eating soup that had expired last April! Of course I didn't realize this till after I'd eaten it but it was still a very sad night. And morning actually. Poor Gjanden had to stay home and help me take care of Gideon till he had to go to class. So, my words of wisdom for the day are ALWAYS CHECK THE LABELS! Thankfully I didn't throw up, but my stomach has been doing horrible little stabs of pain every couple of minutes.
In other news, here are some more pictures of Gideon on Christmas day. Doesn't he look cute in the batman pajama's we got for him?

The Holiday Season

Well, we've had quite a fun Holiday season. Gjandens dad came back for a few days from his job with the military back east. We went to a couple movies with them and ejoyed ourselves quite a bit. Christmas was fun. I think Gideon ate more of the wrapping paper than he played with his gifts but it was still a hoot to watch. He greatly enjoys being pushed around in his big Tonka truck by mama and papa.
He also really enjoyed the gift from his Aunt Dadre and Uncle Talus. They gave him a "Build a Bear" that laughs and says "I love you." When he opened it and they pushed his hand and it started laughing, he screamed and started laughing, hugged the teddy bear to himself and bit it's nose. Very cute.
Funny story. Most of you know that we gave away our cat Shadow because she was trying to attack Gideon. Well another thing that she used to do that drove us nuts was peeing on our carpet. We thought that the problem of smelly carpets was fixed until we were filling up our bathtub to give Gideon a bath and he was standing there waiting to get in and let loose all over the carpet. Yeah....it smells almost the same as when the cat used to do it! So that was our holiday break. Gjanden starts school tommorow so we'll probobly become hermits again till the next semester is over. Oh well. At least he's almost done. Right?
