Gideon and Kaitlyn

From Jealousy to Love

When Kaitlyn was first born, Gideon had a hard time adjusting to not being the only apple of our eyes. He would climb up into the baby swing and demand our attention. One time he even climbed into Kaitlyns bassinet, stuck her plug in his mouth and laid down, acting like a baby. Well, those days are over. The past week Gideon has been hugging and kissing Kaitlyn, calling her "Sis" and trying to carry her around with him everywhere. I think this is going to be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Last week, we were able to bless our beautiful little girl at 9:00 am. I don't think our families realized how close they were to being there without us! I never thought it could be so hard to get everybody ready by nine! Anyways, Gjanden gave her a wonderful blessing and I got a lot of complements on the dress and headband that I made. After our church block was over we went to the Mitchells house for lunch and enjoyed the company of everyone who came. It was a wonderful day.
