Gideon eat's dirt

Well, I tried to post a few other video's but they wouldn't work. But this one did! It's not very long but it's funny. Gideon got into one of the plants before I moved it outside. Here he is with dirt all over his face.

Long time no see!

Well folks, sorry it's taken us so long to update our blog. It's not like I haven't tried but for some reason the pictures and video's wouldn't download. So I'm just going to start posting things and if the pictures work great! If not, I'm still going to update.

November 28th, we went with some friends up to Salt Lake to see the lights at Temple Square. Gideon had a blast as did we all. He was enthralled with the lights, though not as thrilled with the long ride home.

Ammon's wedding was the next day up in Salt Lake again and we had a blast. It was a wonderful ceremony, though funny because the sealer was a little bit of a redneck. It was great.

Then came a sad day where we had to let our pet cat Shadow go. We put her up for sale (for free) on KSL and someone called and wanted her. It was sad to see her go but good because she's now in a home with no little kids chasing her around and our house no longer smells funny. I still miss her occasionally but I know that it's better for everyone invovled this way. They came and picked her up on December 3rd.

Speaking of December 3rd, we also went to my neices birthday party at Chucky Cheeses. We had a blast as we ate pizza, let Gideon try some of the rides and watched as Marian put out her birthday candles with her fingers instead of blowing them out. Gideon got a bit terrified though when one of the empoyee's came by in a Chucky outfit. He was so scared he couldn't even scream, he just sat there shaking. I felt bad.....although it was kind of funny.

So that's what's been happening in our lives! Hopefully you'll hear from us again soon.

Play Time

Gjanden and I took Gideon to the park last Saturday and we got some great pictures of him sliding down the slide and swinging in the baby swings. His eyes looked so blue! We all had a great time.

A Glimpse of the future

Brittany's Single and Inactive!

Well, tonight some representatives of the singles ward in our area came to our home with a birthday card for me planning on asking me to come back to church, until they met Gjanden and Gideon and realized that they may have made a mistake. Hehehe. Somehow or another they got a list of names and birthdays of people who were supposedly single, and since I hadn't been to their ward...well they sort of got the wrong idea. Although they did say that I wasn't the only one on their list that they'd visited tonight that was apparently married. So, the next time you see me, I will be a changed woman, I decided to get married (and somehow have a baby REALLY fast) and Gjandens convinced me to come back to church. Go me!

Curtains!

Well, my curtains are finally done. And all of them are hanging except for the one that's supposed to go in the kitchen. I mean, their in the kitchen, their just not hanging....they're kind of.....lying around. Lazy curtains.

Anyways. Since I'm such a nerd, I figured that I would take pictures of them so you could all see my splendiferous handywork. Of course, I didn't remember to take the pictures AFTER dark so that there wasn't any wierd shadows or light coming through but whatever. You can still enjoy them.....I said ENJOY THEM! Thank you.

Crawling

Well, we're going to have to get a gate here pretty soon because yesterday Gideon got up on his hands and knees and leaned foreward, trying to crawl. It was very exciting until he fell on his face and started to scream.

Fishing

So, I thought that I would just post some fun pictures of our family fishing together...just for the heck of it. Their quite cute.

Opa!

Just thought we would make a quick post. Gjanden's dad, Mike, flew in from Virginia to baptize Mattias (Gjanden's youngest brother). We will need to get some pictures to post of the baptism, but these are a few fun pictures that Aunt Megan took with Gideon and Opa. Mike returned to Virginia on Sunday, but we had a chance to say goodbye on Saturday. We had a really nice breakfast and went out for bowling afterword. Later that night we had elk-burgers (which are surprisingly delicious) and homemade ice cream.

Blog title explained!......(plus a welcome)

Welcome people from planet....."Baby's make it hard to type one handed." I hope you all enjoy my many mistake filled blogs concerning my family (since I will, as I stated before, be typing mostly one-handed while holding my son), I will enjoy writing them.

So, What does my title mean. Well, it's simple really- my son is a mixture of my husband (Gjanden) and me (Brittany). So.... He (our son Gideon) Be a G and B.....and for those who didn't get the play on words, it sounds out heebee geebees, or what people get when their frightened or spooked.
